A top price for Félix Ebi Kouamé - as previously expected
In May last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction African Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre (La Boîte De Nuit) by Félix Ebi Kouamé. The price achieved of EUR 4,986.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sans Titre (La Boîte De Nuit) is the most expensive artwork by Félix Ebi Kouamé that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion African Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre (La Boîte De Nuit) von Félix Ebi Kouamé zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.986,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Sans Titre (La Boîte De Nuit) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Félix Ebi Kouamé, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
