A top price for Félix Courché - as previously expected
The work Celestial skies by Félix Courché was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in May 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,772.90) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Celestial skies is the most expensive artwork by Félix Courché that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Celestial skies von Félix Courché wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.772,90) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
