Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2012 Artcurial held the auction Orientalism, which included the work Rabat, 1928 by Felipe Barantes Abascal. The price achieved of EUR 2,831.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Felipe Barantes Abascal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Safi, 1928 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 17,851.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Orientalism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rabat, 1928 von Felipe Barantes Abascal zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.831,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Felipe Barantes Abascal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Safi, 1928 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.851,00.
