Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Louise-Joséphine-Isabelle De Rohan-Chabot, Circa 1839 by Félicie de Fauveau was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 27,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Félicie de Fauveau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Head of Holopherne, circa 1839-1842, which sold at auction in March 2021 for EUR 63,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Louise-Joséphine-Isabelle De Rohan-Chabot, Circa 1839 von Félicie de Fauveau kam im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 27.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Félicie de Fauveau mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Head of Holopherne, circa 1839-1842 beobachtet, die im März 2021 für EUR 63.000,00 versteigert wurde.
