In April 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Original Illustration Art from the Collections of Kendra and Allan Daniel, which included the work Two children and a dachshund on a plane by Karl Feiertag. The result of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,012.08) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karl Feiertag - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work First love, which sold at auction in September 2010 for EUR 2,500.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Original Illustration Art from the Collections of Kendra and Allan Daniel durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two children and a dachshund on a plane von Karl Feiertag zur Versteigerung kam.
