Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Village by Fei Yifu was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,612.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fei Yifu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harvest Season, which sold at auction in May 2006 for HKD 780,000.00 (€ 78,346.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Village von Fei Yifu wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.612,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fei Yifu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harvest Season beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für HKD 780.000,00 (€ 78.346,45) versteigert wurde.
