In June 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Young Herdsman by Fedot Sychkov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,143.24), 72% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fedot Sychkov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Children With Sunflowers in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 311,200.00 (€ 461,805.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Young Herdsman von Fedot Sychkov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.143,24) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fedot Sychkov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Children With Sunflowers im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 311.200,00 (€ 461.805,15).
