Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Tobogganing by Fedot Sychkov for GBP 106,250.00 (€ 120,080.61). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fedot Sychkov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Children With Sunflowers, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 311,200.00 (€ 461,805.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tobogganing von Fedot Sychkov für GBP 106.250,00 (€ 120.080,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fedot Sychkov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Children With Sunflowers beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 311.200,00 (€ 461.805,15) versteigert wurde.
