In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Hymn Of The Pythagoreans To The Rising Sun by Fedor Andreevich Bronnikov. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 325,000.00 (€ 381,629.46) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Hymn Of The Pythagoreans To The Rising Sun is the most expensive artwork by Fedor Andreevich Bronnikov that we have observed at auctions so far.
