Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work La pesca del tonno in Sicilia by Federico Morello was auctioned at Il Ponte in June 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,000.00. Other works by Federico Morello have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2017 by the work Alba sul porto at EUR 1,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit La pesca del tonno in Sicilia von Federico Morello im Juni 2013 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Federico Morello wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2017 die Arbeit Alba sul porto mit EUR 1.900,00.
