Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A mountain monastery by Federico Moja was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2012. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,970.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico Moja achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Bacino di San Marco looking West from the Riva San Biasio in July last year with an auction result of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 195,606.29).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.970,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Federico Moja erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Bacino di San Marco looking West from the Riva San Biasio im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 195.606,29).
