Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2018 Christies in London held the auction European Art, which included the work St. Mark's Square, Venice by Federico del Campo. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 81,250.00 (€ 90,519.71), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Federico del Campo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peruvian a View Of The Grand Canal With The Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 682,000.00 (€ 612,483.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit St. Mark's Square, Venice von Federico del Campo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 90.519,71) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Federico del Campo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Peruvian a View Of The Grand Canal With The Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 682.000,00 (€ 612.483,16).
