Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction 19th Century and British Impressionist Art, which included the work A view of the Riva degli Schiavoni, Venice by Federico del Campo. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 44,400.00 (€ 50,513.58) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico del Campo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peruvian a View Of The Grand Canal With The Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 682,000.00 (€ 612,483.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A view of the Riva degli Schiavoni, Venice von Federico del Campo zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 44.400,00 (€ 50.513,58) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Federico del Campo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peruvian a View Of The Grand Canal With The Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 682.000,00 (€ 612.483,16).
