Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Peruvian La Chiesa Gesuati From The Canale Della Giudecca, Venice by Federico del Campo was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 220,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 225,000.00 (€ 192,802.06). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Federico del Campo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Peruvian a View Of The Grand Canal With The Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti, which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 682,000.00 (€ 612,483.16).
