Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peruvian Isola Di Capri by Federico del Campo was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in February 2019. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,788.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico del Campo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peruvian a View Of The Grand Canal With The Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 682,000.00 (€ 612,483.16).
