In November 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection, which included the work Peruvian gondoliers On The Grand Canal, Venice by Federico del Campo. The result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 210,119.35) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Federico del Campo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Peruvian a View Of The Grand Canal With The Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti, which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 682,000.00 (€ 612,483.16).

Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peruvian gondoliers On The Grand Canal, Venice von Federico del Campo zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 210.119,35) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00.
