Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Goatherd In A Rocky Landscape by Federico del Campo. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,283.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico del Campo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peruvian a View Of The Grand Canal With The Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 682,000.00 (€ 612,483.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Goatherd In A Rocky Landscape von Federico del Campo zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.283,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Federico del Campo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peruvian a View Of The Grand Canal With The Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 682.000,00 (€ 612.483,16).
