In May this year Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, which included this untitled work by Fateh Moudarres. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,710.00 (€ 10,052.56), 53% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fateh Moudarres achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 269,540.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Fateh Moudarres zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.710,00 (€ 10.052,56) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fateh Moudarres erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 374.500,00 (€ 269.540,81).
