Auction result well in line with expectations
In February last year Bonhams in London held the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale, which included the work From the City by Fateh Moudarres. The price achieved of GBP 8,287.50 (€ 9,908.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fateh Moudarres achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 269,540.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit From the City von Fateh Moudarres zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.287,50 (€ 9.908,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fateh Moudarres erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 374.500,00 (€ 269.540,81).
