The work Flowers by Fateh Moudarres was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including On The Banks of the NileA Journey Through Egyptian Art auction at Bonhams in London in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,799.73), 36% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fateh Moudarres achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 269,540.81).

Die Arbeit Flowers von Fateh Moudarres wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including On The Banks of the NileA Journey Through Egyptian Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.080,00 (€ 4.799,73) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fateh Moudarres erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 374.500,00 (€ 269.540,81).
