Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Faces from the Mountains (wuju min al-jebel) by Fateh Moudarres was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including On The Banks of the NileA Journey Through Egyptian Art auction at Bonhams in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,799.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fateh Moudarres achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 269,540.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Faces from the Mountains (wuju min al-jebel) von Fateh Moudarres wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including On The Banks of the NileA Journey Through Egyptian Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert.
