Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Faces From The Countryside (Wuju Min Al-Reef) by Fateh Moudarres was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 11,475.00 (€ 13,371.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fateh Moudarres achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 269,540.81).

Die Arbeit Faces From The Countryside (Wuju Min Al-Reef) von Fateh Moudarres kam im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.475,00 (€ 13.371,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fateh Moudarres erzielen.
