Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Thandi Sarak by Farida Batool was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2019. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,292.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Farida Batool have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nai Reesan Shehr Lahore Diyan in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,483.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Thandi Sarak von Farida Batool kam im September 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.292,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Farida Batool auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nai Reesan Shehr Lahore Diyan im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.483,33).
