Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2019 Christies in Paris held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art vente du jour, which included the work We the Roses by Farhad Moshiri. The price achieved of EUR 37,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Farhad Moshiri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secret Garden in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 987,750.00 (€ 750,113.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art vente du jour durch, in der auch die Arbeit We the Roses von Farhad Moshiri zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 37.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Farhad Moshiri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secret Garden im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 987.750,00 (€ 750.113,91).
