Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rodeo Cowboy by Farhad Moshiri was auctioned at Sothebys in Dubai in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 72,344.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Farhad Moshiri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secret Garden in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 987,750.00 (€ 750,113.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rodeo Cowboy von Farhad Moshiri kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in Dubai zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 72.344,40) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Farhad Moshiri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secret Garden im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 987.750,00 (€ 750.113,91).
