Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Floating Bowl by Farhad Moshiri was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 175,000.00 (€ 199,534.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Farhad Moshiri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Secret Garden, which sold at auction in April 2013 for USD 987,750.00 (€ 750,113.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Floating Bowl von Farhad Moshiri kam im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 175.000,00 (€ 199.534,25) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Farhad Moshiri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Secret Garden beobachtet, die im April 2013 für USD 987.750,00 (€ 750.113,91) versteigert wurde.
