Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2007 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Fadi Yazigi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 12,000.00 (€ 9,070.29), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fadi Yazigi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work King Che, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 34,497.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2007 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Fadi Yazigi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 12.000,00 (€ 9.070,29) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Fadi Yazigi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit King Che beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für USD 43.750,00 (€ 34.497,71) versteigert wurde.
