Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Holy Family With Saint Francis Of Assisi Adoring The Christ Child, With Two Youths And Angels Above by Fabrizio Santafede was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2013. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,026.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fabrizio Santafede - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La cattura di Cristo e il dubbio di Malco, which sold at auction in December 2003 for EUR 74,400.00.
