The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,026.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fabrizio Santafede - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La cattura di Cristo e il dubbio di Malco, which sold at auction in December 2003 for EUR 74,400.00.
