A top price for Fabian Mpagi Kamulu
In October 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary African Art, which included the work Local Priest by Fabian Mpagi Kamulu. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,788.00 (€ 5,672.49), 60% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Local Priest the most expensive artwork by Fabian Mpagi Kamulu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary African Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Local Priest von Fabian Mpagi Kamulu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.788,00 (€ 5.672,49) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
