Auction result fails to reach estimate
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Summer landscape from Tyrol with lake and mountains by Frederik Christian Kiærskou for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.37). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederik Christian Kiærskou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view towards Sorø Academy in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,510.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Summer landscape from Tyrol with lake and mountains von Frederik Christian Kiærskou für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederik Christian Kiærskou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A view towards Sorø Academy im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.510,96).
