The work Barche in porto by Ezelino Briante was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO - 19TH CENTURY ART auction at Christies in Rome in May 2002. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,860.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ezelino Briante - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venezia, vele in laguna, which sold at auction in December 2001 for ITL 7,105,000.00 (€ 6,385.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Barche in porto von Ezelino Briante wurde im Mai 2002 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO - 19TH CENTURY ART bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.860,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ezelino Briante mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Venezia, vele in laguna beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für ITL 7.105.000,00 (€ 6.385,80) versteigert wurde.
