In November 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary, which included the work Nikiddies - 2004 by Evol. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,200.00 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Evol have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reflection - 2015 in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 21,680.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nikiddies - 2004 von Evol zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.200,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evol auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reflection - 2015 im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.680,00.
