A top price for Evgeny Zevin - as previously expected
In November 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Still Life With Stone And Garlic by Evgeny Zevin. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 17,287.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Still Life With Stone And Garlic is the most expensive artwork by Evgeny Zevin that we have observed at auctions so far.
