In September 2015 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Desert Garden by Everett Franklin Spruce. The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,277.55), 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Everett Franklin Spruce; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Desert sold at auction in September 2010 with the realized price of USD 47,500.00 (€ 34,923.90).

Im September 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Desert Garden von Everett Franklin Spruce zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.277,55) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Everett Franklin Spruce; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Desert im September 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 34.923,90).
