Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work (i) Delayed burning by Eve Andrée Laramée was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 500.00. Other works by Eve Andrée Laramée have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2013 by the work Leaf Battery at EUR 812.50.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit (i) Delayed burning von Eve Andrée Laramée im April 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 500,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Eve Andrée Laramée wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2013 die Arbeit Leaf Battery mit EUR 812,50.
