Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Still life with musical instruments by Evaristo Baschenis was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 300,000.00 – 400,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 250,000.00 (€ 27,300.95). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Evaristo Baschenis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Still Life With Musical Instruments in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 1,472,000.00 (€ 1,166,032.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Still life with musical instruments von Evaristo Baschenis im Juni 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 250.000,00 (€ 27.300,95) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Evaristo Baschenis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Still Life With Musical Instruments im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.472.000,00 (€ 1.166.032,95).
