Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work A Vietnamese Woman Bust by Evariste Jonchère. The price achieved of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,232.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Evariste Jonchère have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Young Laotian Princess, Saramani in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,206.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Vietnamese Woman Bust von Evariste Jonchère zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.232,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evariste Jonchère auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Laotian Princess, Saramani im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 29.206,67).
