Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Mangiatore di mela by Eva Fischer was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 844.63). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eva Fischer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunset in the heart and in the house, which sold at auction in April 2011 for GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,970.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Mangiatore di mela von Eva Fischer im April 2011 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 750,00 (€ 844,63) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Eva Fischer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunset in the heart and in the house beobachtet, die im April 2011 für GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.970,80) versteigert wurde.
