Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sheep, Lamb and Ducks by a pond by Eugène Joseph Verboeckhoven was sold in the British and European Art auction at Christies in London in December 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,378.17) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Joseph Verboeckhoven achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Leading the flock over the heath in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 156,000.00.

Die Arbeit Sheep, Lamb and Ducks by a pond von Eugène Joseph Verboeckhoven wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.378,17) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00.
