Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Daisies, Marigolds, Geraniums And Other Summer Blooms by Eugène Henri Cauchois was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,313.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Henri Cauchois achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses in a basket in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 32,900.00 (€ 15,100.48).

Die Arbeit Daisies, Marigolds, Geraniums And Other Summer Blooms von Eugène Henri Cauchois kam im Januar 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.313,16) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
