Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Inquietude by Eugène Grasset was sold in the 20th Century Decorative Arts auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2006. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,440.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Grasset achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sainte Geneviève Veillant Sur Paris in March 2017 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Inquietude von Eugène Grasset wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion 20th Century Decorative Arts bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.440,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Grasset erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sainte Geneviève Veillant Sur Paris im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
