Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Eugène Claude have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2002 the work Chrysanthemums in a basket was auctioned for GBP 3,172.50 (€ 5,186.20).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
