Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2016 Christies in Paris held the auction Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle, which included the work Tête D'Enfant De Profil by Eugène Carrière. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,125.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Carrière achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maternité in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,461.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2016 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tête D'Enfant De Profil von Eugène Carrière zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Carrière erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maternité im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.461,13).
