In the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction, the work A view down the river changed hands for GBP 480.00 (€ 724.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Despite this disappointing result, A view down the river is the most expensive artwork by Ettore Cosomati that we have observed at auction so far.
