Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An der Elbe, Hambourg, 1997 by Esther Haase was sold in the Fashion Photographs from the Susanne von Meiss collection auction at Christies in Paris in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 2,520.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Esther Haase have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Christine With Cuban Tango Dancer, Havana, March 1998 in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 10,800.00 (€ 16,038.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit An der Elbe, Hambourg, 1997 von Esther Haase wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fashion Photographs from the Susanne von Meiss collection bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.520,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Esther Haase auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Christine With Cuban Tango Dancer, Havana, March 1998 im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.800,00 (€ 16.038,34).
