Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work Two Maquettes by Ernst Neizvestny. The price achieved of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,398.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernst Neizvestny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heads in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 42,500.00 (€ 59,511.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Maquettes von Ernst Neizvestny zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.398,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernst Neizvestny erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Heads im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 42.500,00 (€ 59.511,00).
