Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ernst Neizvestny could be acquired at Bonhams in Paris in January 2024 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Rebel Spirits, Part IIINon-conformist art from important collections auction, the work Etude de corps/ Study of body sans cadre changed hands for EUR 256.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 300.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernst Neizvestny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heads in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 42,500.00 (€ 59,511.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ernst Neizvestny konnte im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Rebel Spirits, Part IIINon-conformist art from important collections wechselte die Arbeit Etude de corps/ Study of body sans cadre für EUR 256,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernst Neizvestny erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Heads im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 42.500,00 (€ 59.511,00).
