Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gigantomakhia album, 1950-1970 by Ernst Neizvestny was sold in the Rebel Spirits, Part IINon-conformist art from Important European Collections auction at Bonhams in May this year. The price achieved of EUR 892.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernst Neizvestny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heads in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 42,500.00 (€ 59,511.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gigantomakhia album, 1950-1970 von Ernst Neizvestny wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Rebel Spirits, Part IINon-conformist art from Important European Collections bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 892,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernst Neizvestny erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Heads im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 42.500,00 (€ 59.511,00).
