Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ernst Billgren achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. In the Böttiger Collection H067 auction, the work "Egen Borg" sold for SEK 32,000.00 (€ 2,710.07) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernst Billgren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Ekorre" (Squirrel) in May 2012 with an auction result of SEK 410,000.00 (€ 43,307.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ernst Billgren erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Böttiger Collection H067 wurde die Arbeit "Egen Borg" für SEK 32.000,00 (€ 2.710,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernst Billgren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Ekorre" (Squirrel) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 410.000,00 (€ 43.307,99).
