A top price for Ernest Baillet - as previously expected
The work Rowing On A Summer Lake by Ernest Baillet was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in January 2015. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,992.74) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Rowing On A Summer Lake is the most expensive artwork by Ernest Baillet that we have observed at auctions so far.
